Fall Out Boy presenta nuevo disco y saca nueva canción: "Young and Menace"

Fall Out Boy acaban de estrenar un nuevo single con el que nos presentan el que será su próximo disco, que se titulará M A N I A y saldrá a la venta el 15 de septiembre. Quizá lo más sorprendente de este nueva canción es la nueva dirección a la que apunta la banda, ya que su sonido suena muchísimo más electrónico de lo que nos tiene acostumbrado una banda que ha sido uno de los grandes referentes del sonido emo.

Sin embargo, van cumpliendo años, y eso también se refleja en sus canciones, por ejemplo, en este single nos hablan de cuando eran jóvenes y se veían amenazantes, pero claramente ya utilizan el tiempo pasado. De hecho, el propio Pete Wentz ha reconocido que la inspiración para la canción le vino pensando en cuando crecía en los suburbios de Chicago y sentía que no encajaba en ningún sitio, y no fue hasta que descubrió la comunidadpunk cuando sintió que tenía un hueco entre todos los que, como él, no encajaban en ningún otro lugar.

Este adelanto, titulado Young And Menace, viene acompañado de un vídeo que nos explican de la siguiente forma: “El concepto es la idea de una película como Elf, en la que se da cuenta de que tal vez no es un elfo después de todo, pero el nuestro tiene menos elementos cómicos y más implicación del mundo real. Ella se da cuenta de que tal vez es humana después de todo – pero tal vez la línea entre nosotros y los monstruos es más borrosa de lo que pensamos“.

Muy pronto, sabremos si este futuro lanzamiento bien acompañado de una gira, y aunque no sea un grupo que se deje ver mucho por nuestro país, seguro que una posible visita sería todo un éxito. Apunten, promotoras que nos estén leyendo…

13 Reasons Why , una de las series más adictivas que Netflix ha creado.

Un misterio que gira alrededor de la muerte inesperada de uno de los personajes principales, un retrato antropológico de una escuela superior moderna y un drama emotivo con un elenco de primera. “13 Reasons Why”, la nueva serie original de Netflix que estrenó en la plataforma digital ayer a nivel mundial, es todo eso y mucho más. Además de ser totalmente impredecible, la adaptación de la exitosa novela de Jay Asher es la serie más irresistible y adictiva que Netflix ha producido en mucho tiempo.

El material original había sido concebido como una película con un rol protagónico sustancial para Selena Gomez. Afortunadamente la agenda complicada de la exestrella de The Disney Channel, quien adquirió los derechos de la adaptación y es acreditada como productora de la serie, llevó la historia de “Hannah” (Katherine Langford) y “Clay” (Dylan Minnette) a adquirir un formato episódico que permite explorar todos los matices de la creación de Asher.

La trama inicia con una escuela superior sacudida por el suicidio inesperado de “Hannah”. Los profesores y el consejero del plantel (Derek Luke) parecen estar en “shock” y con la misión de evitar que esto se repita con otro estudiante. “Clay” es uno de los alumnos que está siendo evaluado y él  asegura a penas haber conocido a “Hannah”. 

El espectador se entera que el protagonista está mintiendo cuando “Clay” recibe un paquete con 13  audio cassettes. Los mismos son una nota de suicidio análoga de “Hannah”, quien indica claramente que el que ha recibido uno forma parte de las 13 razones por la cual decidió quitarse la vida. 

Dar más detalles sobre cómo la trama se va desarrollando sería arruinar el pulso dramático de la serie, la cual cuenta con la dirección de Tom McCarthy, en su primer proyecto después de que su película “Spotlight” ganó el premio principal de los Oscars del 2015.

Ed Sheeran aparecerá en la nueva temporada de  Juego de Tronos

El cantante y compositor Ed Sheeran no deja de sorprender. El músico inglés de 26 años participará en la esperada nueva entrega de 'Juego de tronos', popular serie de HBO que llegará a las pantallas el próximo mes de julio.

David Benioff y DB Weiss, adaptadores la saga de George R. R. Martin a la televisión, dieron a conocer la noticia en un evento realizado en el festival South By Southwestel realizado en Austin (Texas, EEUU).

Los responsables de su fichaje confesaron que llevaban tiempo detrás de él porque Maisie Williams, actriz que encarna a Arya Stark, es fan del cantante. "Teníamos muchas ganas de sorprender a Maisie con la aparición de Ed Sheeran. Y finalmente lo conseguimos", confesaron. Sin embargo, no dieron detalles del rol que interpretará.

El músico ha confirmado la noticia vía Twitter.
